Can you include business info in your profile? If you want Y/A staff to answer (which they may or may not do so), post a message to the forum at http://suggestions.yahoo.com/?prop=answe... . You may want to search there to see if the question has already been presented though. You can also click on my avatar, scroll down to My Contacts tab and e-mail Jane or Steph, who are Y/A staff. They MAY get back to you on this issue in a week. Otherwise, I would say that Y/A guidelines apply to anywhere on Y/A ... including your Y/A profile. So, posting your exact business information is probably a violation, but just stating your profession probably is not. You cannot post personal or professional addresses, phone numbers, etc., in your profile. It's not only unsafe (considering the state of the world and the fact that there are millions of users from all over the world here), but is a direct violation of the guidelines. You may post that you are an "expert" in any field, but nothing more. And FYI, yahoo staff NEVER come here. If you want their direct input, you can contact them at: y_answrs_team@yahoo.com |
