Not sure what camcorder I should by for me needs ( converting for web)? |
can u guys give some advice? I own a pretty big website in NJ that advertises bars / bands and nightclubs. I basically send my photographers out to these types of venues and ( under contract with the venue) they take pictures of the crowd/ special events. I have also been shooting some video lately with my point and shoot snapshot camera ( 640 x 480 res). it has the video function but is not that great and i convert the video to flash video and stream it on my site. it works great but obviously, the video and audio quality is not that great becuase thats not what they are designed for. I want to buy a very small/ inexpensive camcorder ( a compact size) for the video purpose but dont know what format is the best/ easies for editing later. I need it to be in-expensive. I have the software that converts any videos to flash but i wanted to know what camera format is the smalles/ least expensive and best quality for this. I know mini-dv is good format but what do you guys suggest? advice? I wonder which video to flash converter you own. I also have a program that can convert all popular video formats to flv(flash video), swf(publish as html), exe and even screen saver. It works fairly well. With it, I never encounter the problem you listed. If you have interest in it, you can visit http://www.flash-on-tv.com/video-to-flas... where you can get more information about it. Certainly, http://answers.yahoo.com will offer you more answers from which you can choose as you like. Mini-DV is probably your best option, and invest in a good light. Also make absolutely sure that the camera has compatible transfer ports, you will be a little dissapointed if you end up with a fireware camcorder when you only have USB. |
