How do advertising agencies / photographers find non-professional models in Los Angeles?

I know that many models used in print campaigns and ads are not professional. Are there any specific agencies in Los Angeles that cater to photographers needing 'real' looking people?

Try local colleges. There are many art and drama students who would love to model for photographers. Just make sure you get a model release from them.

Church , the grocery store , work , and the strip club .
