i entered a competition to win a wedding they said you won evrything and 5 people entered then it went to a text vote we won and were told it was going to be amazing then we found out we had 8 months to prepare. then we found out we had to pay for flowers outfits after dinner buffet ,dj, cars, photographers the registra to come and marry us at the hotel. yes we were lucky to win it but surely it should have been advertised as win a venue for a wedding ?? it was a reputable radio station that ran it is this false advertising ?????????????????? Call another radio station and report them. They should be really happy to look into it. It very well could be. However, these things are usually checked by lawyers. You should check the fine print. At the very least, you are entitled to a complaint, but if it turns out their fine print doesn't mention anything about you paying, you may have grounds for a lawsuit. I'm not a lawyer though. Just so you know. If it walk like a duck its a duck.If if to good to be true then it is. nothing free in this life if it is run and run far. Ask for what you won in writing. Then check the contest ad on their website. Compare and contrast. Go from there. lol that a big lie seems too good to be true. Sex, lies, and video tape....Choose any two!!! Call or go to a lawyer the first consult is usually free. |
