How can I improve my website?

I just started a photography website a few month ago and have been advertising it with adwords and facebook. I am just looking for some critique on my site on some suggestions as to why I am not getting as much business as I would like. The website is www.jeffreysampson.com. I would appreciate any feedback.

I see you have click through links, meaning you get paid 1/20th of a cent for everybody you get to go to your site.
hmm...

Nice advert. But it looks great and professional but sterile !!

But I do not get the city skyline silhouette.

The links page just steal people away from your website.

Try photo shopping your pictures to make them look a bit better, and making the background of your site more catchier. Make your personality on your web site a bit more warmer, that would include a 'about me' section.

Okies. you should make it more wow. you know what i mean? add more stuff to it to catch people's attention, so they'll want to take a look around more. Make your layout something not so boring, It doesn't hurt making the words POP(:

Lots more pics- people want to know they're hiring a trained photographer, not some random guy. use up some more of that blank gray space on the front page too- makes it look unfinished.

It would be cool if the photo on the front page cycled through several shots.

first of all how many pictures do u have?, second make it more groovey, third it kinda lokks nice, but a little boring.

Its very clean and professional looking, but i would work on the home page. It's a little cold and empty. I would try a different font and make it a little bigger, it just seems very dull and font can make a huge difference on a website. And remember people will judge your work or product by the first impression of your website.

I like your top border on the home page its very catchy.

I like your site it is very clean. Here is some advice:

You should offer more services. Product photography could help you bring in some more income. People could could send their products to you and you could photograph them for website or Ecommerce use. Use live in SD, at some point you will run out of people to take pictures of.

Good luck with your work.

The website looks very professional as do your photos. Regardless of what folks may tell you, PERSONAL sites are pasted with thousands of photos and lettering. A professional site should be kept simple so that even the most computer-illiterate can easily figure out what to do.
