Small questionaire?

Hey, I'm doing a project and just trying to get a bit of research to help with my ideas. If you can answer these questions I will be most grateful, thanks :)

- What would attract you to an art museum ( One that includes architecture and various art subjects )

- Do you go to Design Galleries or art museums often? If so can you name which ones

- Have you got any ideas what could make these museum/galleries better?

Thank you for your time :)

1. Some kind of great piece of old artwork thats rarely in the country!

2. No, last one was National Gallery 4 years ago!

3. Not really, I think you are either interested in art or youre not!

1) If a museum had a kid friendly exhibit, that would be attractive to me
2)I haven't gone to a lot, but the MOMA in San Fran is great
3)Space to walk around in is a biggie. Also, themed days.

- What would attract you to an art museum ( One that includes architecture and various art subjects )- Seeing famous people there featuring their art work.

- Do you go to Design Galleries or art museums often? If so can you name which ones- The only one recently in years was the DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Lincoln MA.

- Have you got any ideas what could make these museum/galleries better?- Food Court/Cafe's maybe even a nice resturant= (Seems like a good date?)

-I don't know, maybe famous pieces (yes famous pieces would definitely interest me, especially by George Stubbs)
-unusual layout and interesting, well-known pieces.
wow that was a small questionnaire..no worries :D

- I tend to be attracted to museums that tend to allow their art to be expressed on the outside. A unique design on the outside can bring people to view the inside.
- I wish I could say yes, but I live in Vegas and the only art that I can view is usually surrounding the Strip and I avoid that area of town like the plague. When I lived in Houston though, I loved going to the art museum- The Houston Fine Arts Museum.
- I always like the interactions that I could get involved in at museums. I always think that is a very good idea. Become part of the museum, not just a visitor.

Well known pieces of work but also exhibitions that change. I'm often drawn to an exhibition because of what is being shown, perhaps for a short time.

I used to live in London and tried to go to as many galleries as possible, regularly. I particularly like the National Portrait Gallery and the National.

If they can play down the "stuffy" feel they sometimes have that would help. Sometimes it's like visiting a library and you get frowned at if you dare talk about what you are looking at.

1....Disabled access.

2....Tate gallery and National gallery

3....Being aware that not everyone can view a piece of art at the level that its placed, thinking about wheelchair users and reducing glare on glass/showcases.

Thankyou for the question...
