Question about painting? |
if someone painted like those beautiful paintings in art galleries like leanardo da vinchi, and they did many exhibtions would they be successful, could they also win the turner prize? you would have to paint something new and innovative to win the prize. to be succesful you must paint things that people love to buy. the audience is very fickle as to what art they choose to be popular. thomas kincaid being an example is a very popular painter but his paintings aren't very good. its an example of being technically proficient but very formulaic. the point is that you must paint something entirely new. something that is completely your own to make it and to make your mark on the art world. leonardo da vinci |
