Does anyone ever feel like this?

Really restless and kind of depressed.. i want new friends, because i can't stand to surround myself with people who are so petty, materialistic, and immature anymore. i want a mature relationship. i want out of highschool. i want to make my dreams happen... i think i read and watch movies too much, because i'm a hopeless romantic that wants an incredible boy to fall in love with and be happy with, no matter the consequences... i want to be happy, to let things go. i want to write a book, travel the world, open an art gallery, change the world...
and i want it to happen more than i can stand, and faster.

Absolutely. But feeling like this makes you feel restless and depressed. So keep those wonderful dreams and ambitions. Keep shooting for the stars and don't lose sight. But, at the same time, enjoy what you have. Friends don't have to be everything that you want or enjoy, they just have to have something that you want and enjoy. And enjoy that part of them!

Good for you on having a goal. You have a plan for your life.
Yes, I feel like that all the time. You have to keep true to yourself and no matter what, don't give up. I have gone far, because of my own personal morals. Set standards for yourself. Make education the number one priority.

i feel the same. all of my friends are wannabe gangsters or people who only care about being popular . they are all immature. im getting tired of my school. not because i dont like school but because im just feeling like i dont care anymore. i feel depressed right now because i just broke up with my girlfriend and im bored as hell with my life. all of my friends are boring and dont do anything except get high or whatever. i just wanna leave and go do something fun or important. i just moved to a new school and there is nothing to do here. i dont know what to do. i feel your pain.

Your dissatisfaction is a result of living in the future and waiting for things to happen. When we live in the future or the past we are telling life, which is happening in the present moment, that it is no good. There is only one moment and that is now. Even ten years from now you will be in the now when you arrive.

Living in either the future or the past causes great unhappiness. It is great that you have dreams and desires, yet it will be hard for them to happen if you are blocking the flow of life by being unhappy now.
