What do you think about my art?

Ok I draw and paint with all sorts of media and I do it as a hobby and to calm down from a stressful day.
My family and friends tell me I am good, but they are family and friends so I don't know how to interpret there answers.
I'd rather have opinions from people who don't know me as a person. Here is a gallery of some of my art:

Heee.... Umm alot of my art has abstract elements to it, as in the sun in the Sunny Park and Cafe du Monde, some of the flowers do look funky, mostly because sometimes I rush because I have to send it through the mail for a birthday. Lol. I am trying my hardest to improve the actual appearance oft he shapes, but for me thats the hardest thing.

We all start somewhere, and your experimenting with color which is a good thing! Keep on practicing! I've got more practice in with pencil. Looking for opinions on a drawing of mine, if you would.

I like your paper texture work, it's fascinating

you abilty to use texture is amazing!
some of the actual drawing skill need a lil work (unless thats how you wanted them to look and in that case sorry!)

I also make my own art .. I really liked Drought and Poverty: The Haggard Hand, and Stormy Rose. I loved most of the flower ones, but some of the other pictures were a bit simple, no offense, for my liking. I think they're maybe just at an odd perspective, but I think your good, and have a lot of potential. (:

They're not horrid. But they look kind of amateur. I think with more practice you could be pretty good. I personally don't like them as they seem a little too perky for my tastes. They're also a bit... just simple and rather shaky in hand and in vibe. But it's not bad. Just keep practicing and perhaps take some art classes and you'll just keep getting better with your art.

i think your very creative! beings that your art is abstract, sometimes abstract can come across as being...messy and out of order. some of your art does seem to be that way, but others i must say are really good. i personally like the last piece...the colorful lion or tiger, whatever it was.

they are ok but nothing special about them

personally, im just not the type of person who likes texture-y art. but your tulip was beautiful! i think that your flowers are better than everything else. but when youre sketcing, you have to shade things! decide where the sun is, and shade. its what gives the picture life, depth, and beauty. keep drawing, though, youve got potential =)
