I really do not get this mathematical problem, help me?

I can do it, but I have no idea how to set it up. Right now, I'm learning about Combinations and the Binomial theorem. So I'm using nCr in my calculator. Any help on setting the problem up would be great thanks.

Problem:

There are 6 artists each presenting 5 works of art in an art contest. The 4 works judged best will be displayed in a local gallery. In how many ways can these 4 works be chosen from the same artist's collection?

10th grade math (algebra 2)

5C4 = 5 ways to pick 4 paintings from a single artist's collection.

Since there are 6 artists, multiply this answer by 6 to get 30.

Each artist has 5 works, so to choose 4 from artist A would be 5C4 which is 5. But it could have been artist B,C,D,E or F so that would be 6x5 or 30 total ways the 4 works could all come from the same artist

omg i just had this question on my homework like 2 days ago! i have such a hard time with combinations and permutations. i didnt understand this either. im still not too sure how to solve it. sorry :(

make a tree connecting the 6 artists, each with 5 works of art, each with 4 judges. 6 x 5 x 4
