Want to sell original Picasso painting but where?

My boyfriend has an original Picasso (he used to work at art galleries for a long time) and other valuable paintings. He wants to sell them through internet but doesn't want to go through dealers or galleries (since he knows how much they charge). Where can he post it? (other than Ebay) Thank you.

Hmmmm...You say that he was in the art world for awhile...Ask him if he remembers any of the serious collectors or a favorite buyer that came into his gallery..Or, see if an art museum would be interested in buying it...If it is a legitimate Picasso, he could contact a museum curator by email and see if they would be interested in purchasing it..

As the others mentioned, museum curators will offer him a substantial amount depending on their budget. I would recommend trying out Yessy.com. He may have much better luck with them.
