SURVEY: What kind of person would abuse an innocent animal?

And what do you think should be the punishment for animal abusers?

There's a story out of South America, about an artist who found a dog on the street, tied him up in an art gallery and slowly (and painfully, no doubt) starved this poor dog to death. And he called it art. DISGUSTING. The worst part is, no one stepped in to help that dog. No one. And now, this art gallery wants him to do the SAME thing again.

My blood is BOILING just thinking about this guy, and all the others who maliciously hurt animals.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who's angry.

I have a link to a petition that people are signing in the hopes of stopping this 'artist' from doing this again. Whether it will work, I don't know. It's certainly worth a try. The Cat firmly beleive in the "eye for an eye" form of punishment. The cat would like to chain the "artist" to the tree in front of his house and starve him to death. He'll put a sign out that says "starving, place money in can". They cat will then buy catnip and kitty treats with it. When the guy finally dies, he'll throw it in the dumpster and find another poor homeless man". I do hope you can tell that The Cat AND his human get very upset at this kind of treatment of any living thing.

absolutely unacceptable i think its just cruel and wrong to do something of the sort. an animal life is just as important and they should serve atleast some time if not years then atleast months...!!

Yes Saucy Kat, that bugs the hell out of me too. We need to speak up for the poor animals who cannot speak up for themselves. If I had my way, laws would be changed so if you do this to an animal, the same should be done to you. See how you like it. Yes, it is awful to hear of cruelty to animals. Is that not how most serial killers begin their careers? Abusing small animals? Makes ya wonder about the "artist" huh?

It's so mean. What's artful about the situation? An animal in pain? I don't get it.

I think there should be bigger charges on animal abusers than there already is. I mean, if you can't feed your dog because you're poor, you should just get your animal taken away and maybe a fine. But if you purpously cause injure to an animal, you should spend some time in jail.

I actually kind of hate China now because they've been putting animals (peoples pets included) into these little camps to make their country nice and clean for the Olympics, and some times they kill some animals off if it gets too crowded. My teacher told me all this.

As an animal shelter volunteer, I want to strip, slash, and slaughter people like that. I'm actually the type of person that gets more angered by animal's death in movies as opposed to human death.
