Starvation and murder are now considered art?

THIS WILL TAKE A MINUTE OF YOUR TIME AND WILL SAVE A CREATURE AND HOPEFULLY REMOVE THIS SO-CALLED "ARTIST"!!!

In 2007, the 'artist' Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, he tied him to a rope in an art gallery, starving him to death

For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition have watched emotionless the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, until eventually he died.

But this is not all ... the prestigious Visual Arts Biennial of the Central American decided that the 'installation' was actually art, so that Guillermo Vargas Habacuc has been invited to repeat his cruel action for the biennial of 2008.

Let's STOP HIM!!!!!

how disgusting just sign against it set this as interesting so more will see this

IF YOU HAVE A HEART YOU WILL DO SOMETHING

I went to all the websites and signed all the petitions I could several days ago!!! It is an awful thing that this guy is doing! He should be chained and starved too to show what it feels like, and all those "judges" who voted him to be at the other showing and who want to have him starve another dog are just as cruel, if not more! How can people talk about their rights when they take away the most sacred right - the right to live from any living being that has feeling just like anyone of us??!?!
p.s. if you get a chance, watch "Earthlings" the movie! It really gets you think how humans do and how they should think about other living being on our planet.

Just for the record, while this idea is disgusting and replusive, it is NOT murder, it is the cruel killing of an animal.

Murder is only applicable to humans.

More importantly, though, there seems to be some serious debate over whther this alleged act even took place, wit ni definitive report i could quickly find that states exactly what happened. there does seem to have been some sort of exhibition, it does seem to have involved a dog, but gallery officals have denied the dog was either tied up the entire time, or that it was not fed.

I'd call this a very doubtful internet rumor, myself.

Hmmmmm...maybe true, maybe not. If it is, the local animal protection people would have him up on charges. I'd bet it is illegal, an no gallery would do it. All the reports have is vague pictures of a sick dog, and someone claiming to be the guy who starved the dog.

If it is tru he should be jailed, and the gallery owners too.

It's like DADA has become legit, with this crap.

Do they not have any animal cruelty laws down there?

How about we tie HIM to a rope and let HIM starve 'for art"?

Anything is considered "art" nowadays anyway :p

i actually heard about this... it is absolutely disgusting. i don't even get how people would enjoy that.

Just like those bonzai kittens, this is disgusting.
