"In 2007, the 'artist' Guillermo Vargas Habacuc, took a dog from the street, tied him to a rope in an art gallery, and starved him to death.
For several days, the 'artist' and the visitors of the exhibition have watched emotionless the shameful 'masterpiece' based on the dog's agony, until eventually he died."

Please go to this link, there are pictures of the "exhibition." Scroll all the way down, there are 2 sets of pictures. This took place in Costa Rica. The myth debunking site "Snopes" has not yet verified it, and said the owner of the museum said the dog was "well fed." You can decide for yourself. Thanks to all the animal lovers out there!!!

I am an artist myself and sad to say I seen other sick art works. I have sign the petition, just the words picture a sick picture in my mind.

actually I wouldnt mind starving some owners to death, that would indeed be art, mostly dotty old bags that give out false information to new owners ......shoot em all !

I believe it to be wrong to intentionally kill an animal for selfish reasons,and the man should be pressed with charges.

Not only is the 'artist' and evil monster, but so is every person that walked by that dog and did Nothing!! How can people see a dog like that and feel No Compassion! If I walked through an art museum and saw that dog, I would have stolen him. I will definitely sign that petition!

No,that man is evil,and so are the people who came to the gallery and did nothing.and the owner of the gallery.I have already signed this a month or so ago. I'd like to see someone do the same thing to him.

It's a disgusting thing to do to the poor dog. If I had been there I'd have untied him and taken him away - hang the consequences!!

i think it is evil and he will go to hell, because it is out of order, to take a dog in need and treat it like this you should talk to the RSPCA they will sign your petition. Also it isn't art at all it is watching a dog die.

Absolutely, positively NOT and I was appalled when I read this about a week or so ago and signed the petition then. I cannot believe that in todays society with the ASPCA, Humane Society and other organizations this was even allowed to go as far as it has. Disgraceful!

Join the ASPCA to further the cause to stop animal abuse and promote their rights.

A dying creature isn`t art, it`s sick. Do somthing besides sighn a petition. Donate to the ASPCA and they will help stop acts of animal abuse, neglect and cruelty.

This is a most disturbing and disgusting case of cruelty, undertaken in the name of art. It defies belief that people could stand by and watch a dog suffer.
