Has anyone seen this performance by joseph beuys and nam june paik? |
i saw a videodisplayed in a gallery of this performance. nam june paik is playing the piano and joseph beuys is making crazy coughing sounds into the microphone. they really get into it. i thought it was really funny. one of the best art performances ive ever seen. does anyone know what this might be? ive searched on google for this performance but i cant find what it might be. i think it was maybe from the 80's. thanks for your help. i would really love to see this again. Joseph Beuys & Nam June Paik Fluxus-Soiree of the gallery Rene Block in the auditorium of the academy of arts in dusseldorf, Germany. though I think they were both badly playing a grand piano. Or contact paik studios for info, after all that's his official representations and they should know what he was up to and should be able to figure it out.
