Want To See A New Painting (3rd. in a series) ?

The stupid digital camera I have tends to wash out (fade out) the more subtle colors in these photos taken of my art, but hopefully you'll get the idea.

The young woman in the painting is hardly the model type. I was going for an average girl, the type you might encounter in an art class, serious and passionate about her art and her life. I hope I was able to get this effect right.

Very nice portrait. Shame it isn't somebody real. I suspect (call it an educated guess) it would have turned out even better if you actually painted somebody that IS that person you describe.

The subtlety of your colors do show but have the same problem with digital camera's, they never show the true colors.

I recon you would hang the whole series of paintings on a single wall (preferably). What would be the order?

I like it very much...but still waiting to see the whole thing. I still see the entire series as ONE piece of art.

good depth( foreground middleground background), nice how you show both windows. Everything looks proportional except for that forward hand holding the brush, is a little big. The cobblestones look nice. Also, the easel looks like it might fall over (its not clear how its standing up like that) -
So, maybe add another leg at the left side on the side facing the back window even though it doesn't exist in real life.

Otherwise, she doe look like the average, serious, art student. Good job!
I like it very much, especially the colours.
