How to acive status? |
i am a funiture maker, with a small gallery space in my home. i do one of a kind art peices, and people seem to love what i do. would love to make a living doing it but i allways end up doing dull work for the money it takes to raise a famaly. any tips? Find some kind of public exposure, maybe a artists show where you can showcase some of your work or something. If you can draw some good attention to your work like that you may make a better living doing it. what do you mean by, "acive"? Okay, you CAN, if you do some really amazing work, go to some art galleries, with pictures of your stuff, and ask if they'd like to show some of your things... You could also try some specialty furniture stores.. BUT< first of all, you NEED to take care of the kids! My -ex, the kids dad, did NOT want a real job: didn't want to ":bastardize" his art. so, I divorced him. He never did pay child-support on a regular basis and, now, the kids have grown up and want NOTHING to do with him! Think that one over, seriously! experience.. I'm an artist, too.. but have my own business and use my art daily... |
