Tips for making a name for oneself in photography? |
Besides talent, what is useful in becoming a successful photographer? Charm, confidence, connections.....(??) I'd love to hear from anyone who's went through art college, worked as an assistant photographer, achieved a gallery expo for his/her work, or anyone with a portfolio. at first i thought the title said "Tips for making a name for oneself in pornography?" so that is the question i will anwser. Give the actor's creative control. It is a must. I hate in the middle of a show when the director comes out and starts talking about rasin bran and about his problems with his ex-girlfriend. Good luck. God Bless. TAKE GOOD PICTURES Go to as many Photo shows you can and intrduce yourself to any and all Connections always helps; it's who you know. Also, marketing. Success at most things is dependent on how good a marketer you are. the work itself.... making yourself known!!! be open minded and be adventures and exotic do some thing interesting but different I am a photographer. I joined a local art guild and also have my work online. I'm a member of this site, which is free: http://www.boundlessgallery.com/... Some people may say to sell your work on ebay, but I'm not into that. It's not something I'm doing as my primary job, but I enjoy it, and it's earned me some extra cash! |
