What kind of artist is my daughter? |
My daughter is a senior in high school. Her goal is to study Animal Science in college. However, we think she is really good at computer art. What kind of art would you all call this: http://tazkia.deviantart.com/gallery/?of... She uses a Wacom Tablet, Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop. We just don't know what type of artist she is and what area of art she should be studying if she becomes and art major. Thanks all... she'd be really good in graphic art, or illustration, or better yet, graphic illustration! her skills could easily take her into advertising, children's books, web design, comics even...she could really go into anything visual communications is also a really good area to look into because it has a very broad spectrum of careers. if she became an art major she'd definitely have to take graphic arts anyway, and her advisors would be able to tell her where she would excell and where she might not want to go. Source(s): I am a Visual Communications Major I think she should consider Illustration. She might even consider medical illustration as it would combine science and art. I think it's great that you've set her up with a wacom tablet and professional level software. I'm a graphic designer and illustrator. those are beautiful, but i cant help you i wish i could Wow your daughter is extremely talented! I am not sure what the correct type of art category her work would fall under, but I just had to comment on the beauty of her work. There is a program called Illustrator. It's like photoshop but it's better for drawing and text. She can major in Illustration in college. She can also be a graphic designer. She can make a great career out of it. She can be an illustrator, computer production artist, art director, graphic designer, story board artist..... so many possibilities. |
