Any Artistic Site as an Alternative to Flickr Please?


Hi. I'm an artist using Flickr, however I really need to find an alternative site, because I'm not happy with Flickr's patronising rules r.e. members being forbidden to display nudes of any kind including artworks, or in photo art, or photos of completely benign non-sexual life model art poses.

I need to display my art and receive comments as part of my project into the depiction of larger sized women in art, how this has changed over time, how attitudes have changed, and how all this affects the body image of larger women, etc.

However I'm finding that I'm not able to persue my art or investigations to my satisfaction on Flickr. I REALLY REALLY need to find an artist's or gallery site similar to Flickr, but without their ridiculous rules about forbidding art nudes.

Flickr won't make any distinction between art and hardcore porn; they think it's ALL wrong and filthy and it's all banned. I need a similar site that KNOWS the difference and will allow me to display my work. TY.

It's a really awesome art community where you can get feedback from other artists.
You post your photographs to different categories, so it's very well organized.
It's also a great place if you need any inspiration.
I could spend my whole life on there looking at other artwork.
And it's helped me grow as an artist, and helped me develop my style.

And they allow artistic nudes and glamour/fetish, as long is it isnt' of an extremely sexual nature, ie: toys, masturbation, sexual behavior.

I use photosig.com It is free to join and allows you to add one picture every 3 days, but you can pay a fee to add more often and you do get critiques on there which will allow you to improve your art. Hope this helps
