What can I do to change my clothing style from typical college student to working woman?

I'm graduating this May with a fine arts degree and all through college my basic style has been jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes. I know my career doesn't requiere a dress code, but ocassionally I might meet people who are interested in my art, or when I go to a gallery to show my portfolio. I want to look professional, while maintaining a casual style.

Well there are some basics you must have they'll sort of form the foundation of your new wardrobe. you can't do without a dark skirt or trouser suit navy blue preferably. And you can't go wrong with a men's style, crisp white shirt. it'll go with anything. Try the website below Source(s): http://www.allm.com/image/survival.htm...
Stop wearing tennis shoes, try wearing heels? No jeans - maybe a skirt or dress pants...and switch to business jackets, blazers...those always make you look more professional...T-shirts, tennis shoes, and jeans are definitely too informal...
okay well i think this outfit i saw was really cute but, it wasn't my style. It was a jean mini skirt, with like a patterned shirt with a loose tie, don't tuck in the shirt and it had dog martin shoes. this outfit is cute and it looks unique and sorta professional!
get at least a black dark suit or navy.
wear pumps.
