I saw the image in an African American Cultural and History course a few years ago, but I can't rememember the title or author. I remember the image was of a black male, and possibly was done in charcoal. I remember it vaguely, but I do remember it was of a black male looking up with his arms outstretched possibly yelling or screaming.. it symbolized a release of emotion. I believe the picture was only of the male from the torso up. Any help would be tremendously appreciated!! If anyone has any idea of maybe an online gallery of Black Arts Movement images that might be helpful as well. Thanks in advance!
