How to start a business? |
Im 24, have a great business idea and really have no idea how to go about doing it. How to i get partners and capital, a good business plan and guidance on this. Again, i have a raw idea, and need more expert guidance on making it come true. Its an Art related business, gallery oriented. Imisidro is correct. But let's take it even further. You need a business plan. You need to be able to articulate your idea in a manner that a banker (or investor) will understand it. That means you need to be able to write your idea out and explain it in enough detail to convince someone to loan you a large sum of money. As you research your business plan, you'll find answers to all of the questions you have. Don't know how to start a business plan, go to the SBA.Gov website or contact your local chamber of commerce for small business classes. u need captial( money in other words) You seem to have a lot of questions. I think you would benefit from talking to small business experts who can help you flesh out your idea and bring it to fruition. Here are some places where you can find a mentor: - Government Mentoring Programs such as SBDCs, which works with community colleges and local business development councils to offer mentoring programs http://www.sba.gov/sbdc/sbdcnear.html... ; or the Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training http://www.sba.gov/womeninbusiness/wnet_... - Volunteer programs such as SCORE http://www.score.org which is composed of mostly retired executives and entrepreneurs - Formal mentoring programs such as Athena Foundation http://www.athenafoundation.org/programs... , Helzberg Entrepreneurial Mentoring Program http://www.helzbergmentoring.org/hemp/... , or The Aspen Institute MicroMentor Program http://www.micromentor.org Other places where you can find a mentor include: - Professional organizations such as the National Women鈥檚 Business Council http://www.nwbc.gov/mentoring/programs.h... - Industry and trade associations - Local business groups, such as the chamber of commerce - Local chapters of business groups SBDCs are particularly helpful in matching you with possible sources of funding in your area and alerting you where you can get funds. SCORE can help you solidify your business idea. |
