Any comments/suggestions for improving the website on contemporary Indian art - www.prabhashah.com.? |
Prabha Shah is a New Delhi based artist. She happens to be deaf since birth. Though an accomplished artist, being disabled she does not know how to go about marketing her works, contacting galleries and shall appreciate help from Yahoo Users. I do not want to use things like flash that will make the site slower. Just two suggestions. First one is in regards to the search words? that appear on the home page. It's strange being able to see them. Was this intentional? I would make them white so they don't appear, and maybe put them at the bottom of the page instead of on either side. Second regards the gallery. I know that the automatically scrolling feature in the gallery is all the rage, but I personally would have preferred static thumbnails. I find myself losing patience with the speed of the scrolling images and losing interest, which is a shame because her work is good. Just my opinions. Otherwise site functionality is OK as is. |
