Why cant i keep my old Email address?since i've had it changed i dont hear from anyone,? |
i'm new to computors,when i started, my friend set everything up for me.all the amazing sites i was getting into,iwas giving my first yahoo Email name .great i was getting newsletters from museums,art galleries music sites ,lots of them.then yahoo offered me some new service to do with messenging+BT .i was told iwould have to change myEmail address Since this i am not getting hardly any Emails especially from MYSPACE etc also i'm now afraid iwill not get newsletters etc from the museums and everything.please can someone help me? You can still access your old e-mail address at http://mail.yahoo.com Enter everything from your old e-mail address up to the @ symbol for the user name then enter your password. If you want to get the same e-mail at your new address then you will have to subscribe to them all over again. Tell people the new one. Use a Hotmail address ... or tell people your new address! My BT Yahoo connection lets me use more than one address to get mail so yours should too! Just set up more accounts, including your old address. tell everyone the new one and try to redo some of the things that u did on the other one Good luck You need to let these people know your new e-mail and you will get them all again. If your yahoo one still works you can log in to it and remind yourself which sites you need to tell. outlook express should accpet both..........but you can check old emails on the btyahoo website by going to home page then clicking on mail and then by entering your old address and password I've used Yahoo email for quite a few years. Yahoo makes many services available and I may use them or not. Yahoo is the best free email service on the Internet, far superior to MSN Hotmail, which I also have. Yahoo does not take away an existing email address when you get a new one. I have four Yahoo email addresses and they are all viable, the same as they were from the start. I've never been 'offered' anything from Yahoo. There are many phony sites, some of them posing as Yahoo and other outstanding Internet locations. Some of those phony sites are really bad, some are just a bunch of wise-guys showing how smart they think themselves to be. Try that first Yahoo email address; it should still be operational.
