You have a talent, but you really need to hone it. First, don't copy anime/manga too much. Nothing irks me more than seeing a good artist waste their abilities drawing some cliche style like that. Find YOUR style, which, your stuff isn't flat-out anime, so that's good, but don't be afraid to be completely nontypical. Something else I would suggest is drawing skeletons of your figures first. It seems to me that you put the pencil to paper and just start drawing, and this can result in people that look like Egyptian heiroglyphics, very 2-dimenstional. Instead, draw ovals and shapes that just kind of give an indication of where the legs and arms and so on are going to go. This makes it all 3-D and look much better. But definitely keep practicing. You're off to a great start, so just keep at it! cute!! I think you have a really cute style. Keep practicing and developing that! The people look too cutsy to me but the houses and stuff look pretty good. Lots of detail and they have decent perspective. Pretty cool. Try coloring it. If you can get them scanned rather than just taking digital pics, we can see them much better. But I think they show potential. Keep practicing! They are cool i'm into magic stuff like that too. Whats deviant about it. You should change deviant title cause it might scare people away would say its more fantasy would love to see in color as well. You are quite skilled |
