What do you like best about exploring a new city? |
Is it visiting museums, art galleries, castles, churches, walking down ancient streets, eating delicious food in a good restaurant, or just sitting in a bar or pavement cafe, watching the world go by? all of the above,. plus getting lost and coming accross a new treasure! it's the excitment of running the GAUNTLET, trying not to get MUGGED! SHOPS!!!!!! trying to speak with the locals.. taking pictures.. enjoying the new and different environment.. argh this makes me wanna go travel now! Speaking with the locals, smiling at them, eating their traditional food. Go for a walk and breed the new air! Feel Happy! Discovering the local history ,shops,talking to the locals and generally just discovering some where new this is always exciting :) accidently ending up in a bad part of town and making it out alive, like I did in both L.A. and Chicago.....I also like to explore the fine dining and nightlife along with the local bands/music scene....not too much into the touristy kind of stuff. |
