OK guys - how does someone over 45+ find decent male friends? |
It's strange, as everything I've done - join evening classes, book clubs, even the gym I end up meeting lots of women. What do men do - apart from go to the pub and football? And how on earth do you build up some decent men to take you to the cinema or a social event or a meal or just have a laugh with you? I'm a reasonable looking woman, who is fun, a designer with an interest in travel, art galleries, going out and about. So, does anyone have any suggestions? Keep looking....but you sound unreal and if i was closer I'd take you out for fun...as those things your into so am I....I should be asking you, how do I find women like you Dating sites? Retirement homes? I'm 42 and although I see men everywhere, most of my male friends nowadays are attached or gay. I do have some single (hetero) male friends that I met through the 'net, through friends, or through work...they are out there. Take up golf. Seriously, I did that and met a lot of nice men. Also, golf turned out to be really fun. Maybe take some lessons from a golf pro. Hit the party line. That only if you dont think you cant get yo old bones up and hit a function or a club. LOL! me, friends |
