Best Area of Central London to Live for US Graduate Student? |
young couple (23 & 24) moving to the UK. One is full time student. We are trying to figure out where we want to live. We want to stay within zone 1. We are looking for a neighborhood that is not that too expensive though we realize that nothing is going to be cheap. One of us is a musician and we're both fond of bars and art galleries etc, so a youngish neighborhood with lots of potential for that sort of fun would be great. Someplace safe (or at least safe enough that you don't have to always look over your shoulder) is also a priority we've been looking at Covent Garden, Bloomsbury etc, but places not too far but maybe a little more off the beaten path would be great! Brighton sounds like the place 4 u. |
