Travelling through france to end in spain....? |
thinking about taking a holiday ending in Spain at the Tomatina festival in Buenol. Is there anywhere that people would recommend visiting on the way. I don't like really touristy places. by that I mean 18-30's holidays, brit filled beaches and clubbing. I am looking for places that have wonderful food, people, cultures, attractions. I like historical places, beautiful views, boats, muesums, art galleries etc.... I am young though! so I do like a good bottle of wine and some decent music! any suggestions would be taken into consideration. e.g: places to stay, things to do, ways to travel! thank you! I would recommend a stop in Avignon, located in the Provence area of France. You can take a TGV train from Paris. From here, perhaps rent a car to tour all the wonderful small towns in the area. Gilbert Travel by train can be good but as mentioned to give a detailed answer please say were you are staring from. |
