Im new to the area and I cant find anything to do here. No museums, art galleries, zoos, restaurantes that cater to the 20-30 something crowd... Im african american so Im looking for some things to do that caters to a diverse crowd. ie young, culturally mixed, gay, straight... whatever. There has to be at least a real museum here??? I only found the Horse museum. Is that it? Say it aint so :(
That's because THERE AIN'T CRAP TO DO HERE!!! I live 25 miles west of the city. Joe Bolognas and DeShea's are supposed to be pretty good restaurants, but nothing special for the young, yuppy type. Need to go to the Highlands or Phenix Hill in Louisville or Mt. Adams in Cincinnati for more of the thriving nightlife that appeals to us twenty-somethings. No major museums, art or otherwise. Sure, you'll hear the UK Art Museum mentioned, but it's nothing remarkable. The CAC or CAM in Cincinnati or Speed in Louisville are MUCH better. No zoos--go to Louisville, Indy, Evansville, Cincy, or Columbus for that.
