Im an 18 year old high school senior. I live in New York, and I applied to NCU (North Central University) in Minneapolis Minnesotta. I was wondering if there are any of you who have heard of NCU (by the way its a christian university) or if there are any current students who are enrolled at NCU. As well as what do you think about it, and what do you think about the city that it's located in? I went to Minneapolis.org and it's a great site. Because you get to know info about the best places to shop, dine, and about art galleries and museums, as well as the mall of america. So I just want to know what you all think. (If some of you think that the only reason why I'm applying to NCU is because of where it's located, it's not like that. Yes it's located in minneapolis, but I'm going there because of my faith in Christ, and I want to go to a school where I'll be cahllenged spiritually as well as academically.)
You should select a college because of fit not because of location. If you feel that you are going to be challenged and that you are going to have a positive experience you should attend NCU.
I suggest that look at their website to see how they are challenging their students spiritually. Some Christian institutions do very little spiritual education throughout the entire year. You should check to see if students have to go out of their way to be involved in the Christian community. Maybe you could try to shadow a student their to learn more about the on campus experience. |
