What to wear? I'm totally clueless.? |
Hello everyone. I am a member of a French Speaking society type thing and we are going to a really fancy art gallery, then going to a nice lunch, then ice skating and holiday shopping after wards. Im going to be going with a colleague i am extremly interested in. So I really need a nice outfit? Please help. oh some helpful things. its going to be cold, its going to be a holiday setting, i am short (5'3") and i have very fair skin so no black please. Follow this fasion advice and you'll be good-to-go. i would wear something chic and artsy. skinny jeans (wear leggings underneath for warmth) a nice sweater or pea coat with colorful hat/earmuffs and gloves. wear ballet flats in a bright color like electric green, there easy to take on and off and good for shopping. under your sweater where a nice flowy chic top that accents your pants. Urban Outfitters or Delia's. :) They both have a website for online shopping and store locaters. If you're looking for peacoats and other outerwear, that's where you want to go. Though its quite expensive, the quality is worth the money. Delia's offers jeans with inseams that suit short, regular, or tall girls as well so you don't have to worry about the ones that you buy being too long. There's quite a selection. Forever 21 is good for casual tops. Affordable and trendy. Well I would say how about a pair of nice khakis or black slacks. Then for your shirt a nice sweater or blouse something dark, like a pink/reddish color for a sweater if you go that route. Or for the blouse something with gold in it. It makes you look high class. For your shoes I would go with something comfy you are going to be walking a lot it sounds. So slip ons something classy no bows or anything. Well I hope this helps a little. |
