Flying to NY to meet someone off the internet? |
I have been chatting to this guy who seems absolutely lovely. He is wealthy, in finance, owns an art gallery, in involved in a lot of children's charity work and has proved all of this to me. He lives in the US and I live in England. He has offered to pay for me to go for a weekend to meet him in New York and has said I'd have my own hotel room and we'd go see aplay on broadway. After a lot of declining and hesitation I eventually said that I'd go and he bought me a ticket. I had previously asked him why we couldn't meet in London and he never mentioned it. He is quite a bit older than me too. 15 years... I'm really interested in meeting him and he sounds lovely but after speaking to one of my friends who has been very blunt with me I am worried that I'm doing something silly. I know his address, the name of his art gallery, the children's charity he works for... He had not been rude or crude in any way. He has already bought the tickets... What do you think? Sounds good to me. The people you meet on the Internet can't all be killers. I'm wealthy and I own a art gallery too.I'm also involved in a lot of children's charity work. I've been out of prison now for 3 months and haven't robbed anyone. If you lucky find doesn't workout let me know while your here in the US. I will send you bus tickets. Forget it. Your life may be in danger. Honestly? Hire a Private Invest. Check him out. Google him, do whatever you have to do in order to make sure that he is on the up and up. I'd be scared if i was you. Use your common sense cause there is a lot of pervs out there on the internet. Best of luck. If you end up going just be carefull I live in New York it's great!! But when with him stay in peoples view you never know just be very careful ya never know :D good luck!! Bring a friend!! I agree and research him as much as possible! how old are u again? check the addresses, ask for phone number, make u sure he's not just another predator!!!!! no matter how convincing he sounds, make sure first, u dont wanna make the biggest mistake of your life. |
