THE VERMEER YOU REFER TO IS SUPPOSEDLY HOUSED IN FRANCE AT THE LOUV'RE MUSEUM BUT IT ALSO IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN A TRAVELING MUSEUM SHOW,...IT IS MOST LIKELY IN A VAULT SOMEWHERE AND A FAKE IS ON TOUR AS ARE ALOT OF PAINTINGS BY OLD MASTERS.

wooly, you're nuts. Paintings on tour are not fakes. I've never heard of one being fake, except for the Mona Lisa back in the early 90's. You obviously know nothing about how museums work.
