Where is a nice place 2 visit in either glasgow or edinburgh??? |
I'm wanting 2 take my female friend somewhere nice for a day out sumwhere in Scotland. I don't want it to be too expensive cs i am an 18 year old student so i don't hav lots 2 spend so i'm thinking like parks, museums and attractions more. We'v already been 2 kelvingrove art gallery, kelvin park and the gallery of modern art but i need another place 2 take her even if its not something 2 do with art. I need help lol !!!! How about the Royal Yacht Britannia at Leith...I thought it fascinating...very good. and I don't think that expensive, although I could be wrong.... take her into the countryside, there is alot of history and beauty out there.. edinburgh castle is fab Take her out to Rosslyn Chapel, the architecture is great, then a walk and picnic in Rosslyn Glen. 拢1 each way on the No 62 (First Bus) from St Andrews Square Bus Station, Edinburgh. If it's raining, you could go to the National Museum, Chambers St, Edinburgh. Again you would take a packed lunch, they have an area for you to eat it, you could spend all day there. You could walk there from the centre in about 6-7 minutes. there is a new promotion i think its 38 pound per person its a pass for unlimited tour bus rides plus ree admission to the castle hollyrood palace and the royal yacht britannia i live in edinburgh Edinburgh lingers in the nineties still, with more of historical and cultural theme - the nicer of the two. Glasgow is more modern wth loads of great shops and stuff. Your choice... |
