Does Keyword Density, Even Matter? |
What do search engines consider as keyword stuffing? Does Keyword Density even matter? Am I correct in saying that if you use words just as words it is looked at as keyword keyword? Example: I use the keyword "Art Gallery 20 times on a page: Art Gallery, Art Gallery, Art Gallery. How, if I use the keyword 25 times in the manner of well writen sentences, it is not looked at as spam? Despite what several SEO experts will tell you, keyword density is very important, but it is more than just having the keyword in the body of the text. Keyword density takes into account the use of the keyword in the Title tag, the description tag, anchor text, url's, body text, comment tags, etc. Stuffing keywords into the body of your text is very spammy, but proper placement of desired keywords in all aspects of your over all site design is just plain good seo.
