Is there any well known visual art agencies or promoters that will help artists get into galleries and become well known?

If you're talking about contemporary art, the answer is no. There are no promoters, agents, reps or agencies that can actually get your work into any important art gallery. Artists need to submit their work themselves AFTER doing research on the most appropriate galleries for their kind of work, and after discovering what the submission policies of those galleries might be. If your work is not ALREADY in the city in which you want to exhibit, dont even bother. No good, substantial gallery will offer you a show based only on visuals. They will need to see the actual artwork if they like the visuals, and they will NOT let you bring the work into the gallery unless it is photography in a portfolio or in some other very small, easily handleable format. |
