Can anyone plz comment on my art work?? |
these r the art works that i drew about a month ago.(ps i just got finish drawing more and ill put some more up their l8ter) just click on browse gallery on the page of the link i sent u. http://sayaka16.deviantart.com/... you're doing very well! you should try inking them ( india ink or otherwise), and coloring them with gouache (a fancy kind of watercolor paint) rather than colored pencil. You'll get a more cell-shaded effect. Bonus points if you can scan them or color them digitally (as they do for all cartoons now). It's always great to be able to draw your favorite charracters, but if you plan on taking it to the next level (i.e. illustration major at an art school), the will want to see your original characters and compositions, and in different styles too. American and japanese comic characters are waht got me first drawing too, but life drawing may be something to check into. Keep it up! it's good stuff. I knew a girl in my high school who used to love drawing these, she was just as good as you as well. They seem very nice, you may want to focus now more on detail and specifics. For example, the picture with the girl in the red top. You got the broad basics, but you could def. use extra shawdowing on her dress and extra texture in her hair. Other than that great job. Practice makes perfect! very good, keep on doin' what you do, and have fun,鈽?br /> .. you did a pretty good job. |
