How much would you pay for my art?

I'm entering one of the pieces in my gallery in an art show/silent auction. The form wants to know what the piece is worth for auction purposes. I'm not sure how much one would be worth if I framed and matted it. It's going to be an 8x10 shot in a 11x15 glass frame with a matte. How much would that be price-wise? If you also have any ideas on which I should use please speak up. I've included the link to my online gallery if you'd like to see what I have to get a better idea of what I'll be selling.

Thanks!

How are they printed? Your photos are very generic in terms of theme and subject matter, so they need to be quite well-executed to be worth buying. If you're taking them with a compact digital camera and printing them on a normal inkjet printer, you shouldn't expect more than $50. If you're taking them with an excellent DSLR, medium format camera, etc., and printing using a higher-quality method like Fuji lightjet or optical enlargement, I would say that $150 would be more reasonable. If the prints are really flawlessly made, perhaps $200. Asking more than that as a relatively unknown photographer is probably egoistic.
My parents owned a painting from a well-known local artist and sold it for $400, I think. I'm thinking photos are the same.
I'm not sure what to tell you. you have some very nice shots on your website. You could go to www.starvedartists.com and do some price comparisons, before setting a price.
I would pay no more than $500 dollars, why because you are unknown and also because of the quality that you described.
I guess a price would really be something you would have to figure out. Try asking yourself how much would you spend on the art if it wasn't your work... then that would be a good answer.
I don't know exact but the lowest would be around 200-500,
here's a tip: Go calculate how much making that stuff (cost of frame, your hardwork, paint, etc.) then add a little cost into it so you get your profit, then start at that price!

You know how auctions are. As long as they liked it they will buy it.
I like your work and think your prints are underpriced. However, I recently visited New York City, and I was shocked at how inexpensive the framed photos were there. The 4x 6 prints with a mat in a black metal gallery style frame usually sold for $10.00 each. Because of having seen that, and because you are not REALLY selling your work, but assigning it a value, I would say put $40.00 on it. If you hope the exposure will gain you business and you are fearful of running off potential customers who can't afford an "art" print, you could go as low as $25.00 if that has a great enough profit margin to be worth your time. Sometimes it is worth it to lose money to gain exposure. The other side of that coin is, some people won't think its worth anything if its too cheap. That's called snob appeal. I'd shoot for somewhere in the middle. Thank's for showing me your work. You have a great sense of color and a wonderful "eye."
I don't know much about price or value, but your work is *gorgeous*! ^_^ I love it. :) Assuming it goes from newest to oldest, you can really see an evolution to it.
Very nice. ^_^
