From art history, I know classical oil painting, impression
art, but right now I see lots of mixed media art works in galleries.
Actually, mixed media is not a style. Mixed media is the material substance or media, like oil, acrylic, watercolor, metal, clay etc that the artist uses to create an artform like painting, sculpture, weaving, jewelry ceramics etc. Popular themes in art today often tend to be regional and if you could call Regionalism a style, then that term might work as a possibility to answer your question.
