I recently visited chicago and saw an amazing brilliant blue glass plate (for about $300) in one of the small art galleries. And I can't remember the name!!! :-( I want to buy it now that I know it will fit in my display cabinet.....but I lost their card and all I can remember is that the shop was on the magnificent mile. If anyone can help that would be awesome!! (not to mention saving me a 5 hour drive each way to find the place!!)
There are a bunch of art galleries right around the Art Institute of Chicago. Was it north or south of the museum? You probably would be best to go the yellow pages and look for all the art galleries with an address on Micigan Avenue. Was this place north of the bridge that goes over Wacker? Was it south of the Water Tower? You need to ad some details. Safest way is to go to yp.yahoo.com and look under the category art galleries. |
