Are there any italian art galleries/studios/schools that will give me a job? |
i want to go on a planned gap year next year and would love to spend 6 months in italy working in an artistic environement. im taking evening classes in italian and study art. any suggestions for people to ask or places i could contact? You can get a list of Art Schools from the Italian Cultural Attache (there is one in London and one (I think) in Edinburgh. Then you have to work your way down the list with a cv and covering letters. Good luck! Cannot help, but asked the question on this website: www.ask.com. Ta I very much doubt if you could get a paid job. You'll have to volunteer and even then you would have to compete with others for a place. As virtually the whole of italy is an art gallery you might find something somewhere. Try the Italian embassy and see if they have any leads. Meanwhile try some voluntary work at your local impoverished gallery. It all helps. |
