Are there any art galleries located near the Los Angeles area?

I'm interested to renew my eyesight with some artwork, of any type. I would prefer to view contemporary though, photography or any other category of fresh art.

why not goggle search art galleries in LA. I am sure you will find what you need.
HELLO! just go anywhere (well, not anywhere that's unsafe) and LOOK AROUND it's all over the place. you don't need a GALLERY to find artwork (or inspiration). architechture, billboards, people. grab your camera, put it on manual, and make your own. YOU CAN DO IT.
There are art galleries everything! I would think L.A. probably has too many. Check out newspapers and look online. You should find a ton!
