How much is my art worth?

I am an art student and am considering selling some of my work. Does anyone know what I could get if i sold these on ebay? Would I have better luck with a local art gallery?

If nothing else, what would YOU pay for any of these? (honestly?)

THANKS!!

You have considerable talent, but these really do look like student work. Keep at it.

Your work is "worth" whatever someone will pay for it. Like the first response, if someone personally identifies with a piece, it will have more value to them.

I did a watercolor of pine trees and had it exhibited at the national fair in my state. I loved it. I didn't want to sell, but I had to mark it for the category i was in... so I priced it at $600.

Sure enough, a woman called me wanting to buy it! Turns out, her family FARMS pine trees.

Make what YOU want...Lots of it. The more you produce on your own, the more of a personal style you will develop naturally. You understand the basic elements/principles of art, now you have to break the rules.

Good luck!

I have no clue how much they'd go on ebay, and I'd rather not say how much I'd pay for one of them for fear of insulting you. But honestly I would only buy the first two, ESPECIALLY the first one. For some reason, a girl smoking has always seemed an artistic thing to me, I guess because of the grace and finesse with which women do ordinary things. And the guitar. I play guitar quite a lot, so the smoking chic plus the guitar really appealed to me.

But they're all incredible, you have immense talent. I don't know anything about stuff like this, but there may be a better place to showcase your work than ebay.
I agree with everyone else. These are not gallery pieces.
You have a lot of talent, though, so keep painting and you will get there.
I love #8 the teapot!
You first have to ask yourself, "Why would anyone want to buy these?" Most do look like still lifes that were painted for a class or something. I honestly don't feel them pulling on my emotional strings.
They also are not really my style. I am not saying they lack talent, because they do show some, but they do not seem marketable. As a heads up, many galleries want a large percentage of the purchase price, so if you ever decide to go about doing that, be careful and very choosey.
