Art Galleries used for training of medical professionals?

How do medical schools and other trainers of medical professionals use art galleries - for sensitivity and observation skills?

Actually, not so much the art galleries for the medical illustrators, more so for the Art therapists. Usually the therapist deals more in the actual creation of art for the patient. If there is a gifted patient (or client) a trip to the art gallery is required.

Psychology is also a big help in the clients recovery. Sometimes you can't say what you feel, but the artwork can help access different parts of the brain. This is where healing, real medical healing can be helped by the client creating their own messages in art.
