i've done internships before and although all my bosses have loved me they never had the resources to hire me full time. what would be the best way to get a museum job?
Best way would be to go to the "careers' section on your local museum's web sites, and see what positions are available. You could also send a resume to the HR addresses to introduce yourself and your interest in upcoming positions. Same for local galleries.
While you are browsing jobs, read the descriptions to see if there are any necessary degrees/skills that you need for the specific jobs you want - while you are seeking employment, you can find/start training that will make you stand out as a candidate.
