What is the best way to show one's art work; gallery or web or what? It honestly depends on the kind of art, and the kind of stuff you want to do with it. Do you want people to buy it? Just know about you? You can try local artists'association, you'll get a lot of insiders' tips on what to do in your area. I am a contributor for www.artbusiness.com, read Alan's articles, they've helped me a lot. He says a lot about galleries but also other outlets. Here are some things you can do: ask local restaurants with the price range most likely to attract your potential buyers, and see if you can get an exhibit there. For full exposure why not if you have the money put your art work in all areas of media structures that are available to you. If you are aiming to have your art work seen then the answer is simple. Up to you in the end if you want more people to view your work then display it in all areas that you like. |
