How can I make an art gallery view my web page? |
Please visit: www.artecontemporaneomx.tk You can't MAKE anyone view your web page. But you can do an on-line search of galleries that you feel might represent artists in the style that you are working. Then you can either call them or e-mail them and commend that they visit your web page. Some will do exactly that if you ask them to. Just make sure that you provide a direct link to your web page in the e-mail you send them. Best of luck. It has been my experience to find out if the gallery in question is taking submissions and then find out the requirements and then send stuff ie cd or slides of your work with an artist statement and a curriculum vitae via snail mail making links here to go to yours, may not be the quickest way, having links from your page re-guiding to other sites and back is very confusing, you could find local galleries in your area, and have links to their sites on yours as well, and alos have a show in a gallery, and they ca refer you through a link on thier page as well, .. As you said a gallery , you could use PDF adobe acrobat that are opened by icons this would entail a foyer where you have artists and work listing that you click on to see the individual works////did you mean a gallery view of your page or do you want a galleries honchos to visit your page, send them invitations such as"this is an invitation to visit www.yournamehere".to experience the work of a new(or established ) artist dadada..da ect. ect the works are in (mention there style)and fill in as you like(p.s. i think you should find a shorter name for your http:/) thinking In my experience, sending a gallery a short invitation sometimes works, use a VERY small thumbnail of one or two of your best images in your email, make it look like a postcard, and provide a direct link to your site. Include a brief list of any previous shows, awards or accolades. In my opinion, you should wait to add more images to your site before you do this. What you have so far is not enough to get a good idea of your general style. 30+ yrs an artist, 14+ yrs gallery owner |
