College Tennis?

What are some good tennis College's t near Long Island or NYC? If u can get me thier website that would be graet. Also i wound't mind other colleges in florida or LA. I'm thinkng of gonig into photography or something having to do with art, and i would love to still be able to play tennis and maybe goning pro in the future, but still having something to fall back on, I've been playing since i was about 10 or 11.

at the end of the day what matters is your level of tennis and what your aspirations for a college program are...I really hate to be as @!#hole but if your not already recruited by universities then you might not be great material to go pro...hey I hope you can prove me wrong though.
I was at the same place where you are, I played D-1 tennis and graduated 2 years ago. When you contact schools make sure the academics are a priority, at the end of the day thats whats gonna be important. only few people out of the top colleges will ever go pro.
that being said, florida tennis is fairly tough, even in small colleges. Most D-1 and D-2 universities and colleges will have a VERY competiteve tennis team (We played against a couple of em evey year). I'm guessing LA will be tough to break into. but I might be talking out of turn here (you might be way better then I can tell from reading your question).

my recomendation is try and contact EVERY coach you can either around NY ( there are some decent D-1 schools) and LA and florida. also look into east coast schools with GOOD academics, for some reason some of them don't have GREAT teams.

also try and get into a D-1 if at all possible, I think it makes a huge difference.
